Omeka S is a professional open-source web publishing platform allowing users to easily build a website without prior technical knowledge in order to make collections (ranging from heritage to research) accessible. This can range from a complete online searchable catalog to highlighting a few museum or heritage objects from your collections. With Omeka, you can build web exhibitions or stories around your collections. On top of that, visitors can also participate by adding extra information or sharing content via social media. Through additional modules the functionality of Omeka can be extended with maps, specialized viewers, timelines etc.
